Abstract

Abstract This study looked into the experience of the organization child development foundation through rehabilitation of children recruited by armed groups at Gadaref state form the year 2007 up to the year 2009 . Throughout the study the researcher tried to find out what extent the programmes of rehabilitation children soldiers succeeded socially. That necessitated knowledge of the following aspects. Social upbringing in the meds of conflicts and its impact on children especially children who are more vulnerable to be recruited as soldiers by armed groups, the researcher also investigated the impact of armed conflicts on children .in addition to that the researcher looked into the lows, Charters and protocols that aim at protecting children from participating in battles and rendering them victims recruitment experiences. The researcher used appropriate tools data collection ,namely ,initial information forms of data collection ,observation interview and a number of some other secondary sources . The researcher used the historical and descriptive method together with the statistic analysis method for analyzing data. The researcher came out with a number of results ,the most important of which are: The activities for psychological support provided to recruited children have a positive role rehabilitating these children in community.

The researcher recommended that the formation of international committee working to demobilize and release of children involved in armed conflicts in all countries of the world release.
