تدني تحصيل درجات مادة الأحياء لطلاب المرحلة الثانوية

Abstract

مستخلص البحث: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى التوصيل للأسباب الحقيقية التي تؤدي إلى تدني تحصيل درجات مادة الأحياء بالمدارس الثانوية بمحلية المتمة فى الفترة من 2003م-2008م. لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة مستخدماً الإستبيان الذي وجه إلى معلمي وموجهي مادة الأحياء بالمرحلة الثانوية بمحلية المتمة وأتخذ الباحث العينة العشوائية من مجتمع الدراسة بمحلية المتمة والذي لا يتعدى 50 معلماً ومعلمة وموجهاً وموجهة . وبتحليل العينة والوصول إلى النتائج أستخدم الباحث برنامج كا2 لتحليل المعلومات. أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة أن معلم مادة الأحياء بالمرحلة الثانوية بمحلية المتمة لم يتدرب على تدرس منهج الأحياء للصف الثالث قبل وبعد نزوله لأرض الواقع كما أن مصطلحات منهج الأحياء للصف الثالث معقدة وغير بسيطة وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن المدارس الثانوية بمحلية المتمة لا توجد بها معامل مجهزة بالأجهزة والأدوات ولا يوجد فني معامل كما توصلت الدراسة إلى عدم وجود دورات تدريبية أثناء الخدمة تساعد المعلمين على تطوير قدراتهم وتحسين أدائهم. توصى الدراسة بعقد دورات تدريبية أثناء الخدمة لمعلمي ومعلمات مادة الأحياء بالمدارس الثانوية. ترى الدراسة ضرورة إدخال الحصص المعملية والكتاب العملي فى مادة الأحياء بالمرحلة الثانوية. كما تؤكد على تبسط المفاهيم العلمية المقررة لمادة الأحياء وأستخدام الخرائط المفاهيمية فى تدريسها . ترى الدراسة أهمية الإهتمام بالمعامل وسد التقصي فى المواد والأجهزة العلمية كما ترى أهمية وجود فني المعامل وتدريسهم وتأهليهم.

Abstract

The Major aim of this study is to find out the real reasons which causes the declining of 3rd year marks in secondary schools all over Elmmatama province during the period 2003-2008. To achieve the purposes of this study the researcher used the descriptive analyzing method which was a accompanied by the questionnaire filled in by experienced teachers and the super visor of the biology subject as amain tools for the data collection. The data was collected and a random sample was taken from 50 teachers and supervisors, then the random sample was analysed by using (K2) programme to get the information. The most important results of the study are: 1. Some of biology teachers in Elmmatama higher secondary school have not received training in teaching third year textbook. 2. The terminologies of the book are very complex and not easy. 3. The secondary school are very poor in laboratories with the sufficient instruments and tools necessary for Biology practices. In addition there are no biological lab technicians. 4. There are not training courses during the civil service period to help teachers to improve their skills and teaching method. The study suggested some points which help to improve the situation. They are: 1. It's helpful to organize training courses for teachers in the secondary schools. 2. Biology practical periods aswellas practical books in the curriculum. 3. It's necessary to simplify the scientific terminologies found in the third year biology text book. Also it's useful using maps in teaching the subject. 4. Paying attention to laboratories and solving the problem of shortage in tools and instruments. 5. It's very urgent to have qualified Biological lab technicians in schools.
